Electrolysis can treat almost any area where you may have unwanted hair with a few exceptions.
Some clients describe a slight heat or a tingling sensation. There's no such thing as painless electrology. Some parts of the body are more senstive than others, but your electrogist can adjust her settings.
The total treatment time can vary from person to person. It is dependent a number of factors:
size of area
previous methods used
hair growth cycles
density of hair
texture of hair
existence of curved/distorted follicles
normal physiological changes
Some improvement should be observed within several months after strating treatment, providing the client adheres to the recommended schedule. It is important to realize that time, commitment and patience are needed in order to overcome a problem that didn't develop overnight.
This should disappear in 1/2-2 hours after treatment. In some circumstances, electrolysis causes tiny scabs to form over the treated fllicle. These are a perfectly normal part of healing and will not leave permanent damage if left alone.
Electrolysis has been performed for over 125 years and has been proven to be an extremely safe procedure. There is a short healing time and it is normal to see some redness or mild swelling.
